Happy tea time and thoughts

As the summer in Oman is revealing itself with warmer temperatures, bright scorching sun and bright blue skies… I’m increasingly lured inside my home! And I have started completing a lot of unfinished tasks like clearing up store and finishing up an art piece that I have been working on… clearing my inbox (apologies to my readers for my late reply)  and reading other people’s creative journey. And what intrigues me in their stories is what drove them to their journey… it might be just a simple curiosity that has led them to what they are today… that changed their life around… I am on a quest to search for more stories and people who just turned around their lives based on their curiosity and ideas…. There is nothing more nourishing to learn more from each one's journey don’t you think? Wish I could have a cup of tea with you and just converse away and hear your story....

If you are one of them do write to me and I would love hear more about your journey…  you can email me at

Happy Tea time!

Photography Love

Photography is therapeutic to me… I shut myself off and just dive into the details trying to capture the beauty and love in one frame, experimenting with colours and textures. I have always loved going through old and new pictures ever since I was a child… because every picture has a story to tell…. And being able to capture memories and details is sheer joy. Through photography I try to capture beauty around me through mundane things… I just have to look closely… I see beauty in textiles, in intricate designs, in nature and in vibrant colours. I love photographing interiors, travels and still life…. Having said this let me confirm I am no professional photographer… To me photography is all about chasing beauty in our daily lives and the camera goes wherever I go. Each one of us has a medium to chase beauty and love… it can be art, dance, theatre,  … what is your medium? I would love to hear your journey.

Style your space with Bougainvillea

My bougainvillea flowers is the only thing that will survive the heat in summer and easy to grow as well. And it’s the next best thing to use it for landscapes as it comes in beautiful vibrant colours. This plant is one of the few that is surviving in my garden. So I decided to bring some indoors to bring some charm and drama to my space. I love the delicate and fragile look it gives and it is simple and elegant to use…  I am a huge fan of using flowers as décor and there is more joy when using your own flowers from your garden rather than splurging on flowers bought from store.

Tip: If you have any summer plant with flower, just nip it with long branches with flowers and decorate your space.

If you wish to share some unique flower arrangement, please email the pictures to  ... I will be happy to showcase it and fill "Tickled by Inspirations" wall with colours . Have a wonderful day!

Sunday Decor and Styling

Happy and fabulous Sunday to you all!!

The Indian Weave had surprised me with some fabulous hot pink and white kantha stitch cushion covers and I had to incorporate in my décor because I wanted a different pop of colour for the new month in my space.… So I layered my recliner with these hot pink cushions and it completely changed the mood around by giving a different texture. The décor tip is to accent your couch with cushions that brings not just colour but texture and design as well. It gives you that instant makeover.

My love affair with this chair continues … I have my tea and coffee here… I read here and snooze off … so I basically love styling my favorite comfort corner to just set the right mood. Thank you Indian Weave for these fabulous cushion covers!! Readers click here to head to The Indian Weave website if you wish to get hold of these gorgeous covers and do browse through their handpicked lifestyle products. They are worth drooling and buying! And for those readers who missed my feature on The Indian Weave please click here to read. Have a fabulous week ahead everyone!
